Talk of the Turnstile – May 23rd

Welcome to another edition of Talk of the Turnstile, bringing a weekly round up of all things football and SoccerStarz!

Saturday 24th May, will host two massive games of club football. Firstly taking place at Wembley, QPR face in-form Derby for a place in the lucrative Premier League. Billed as the highest paid game in World football both sides will be clamouring for that final place in the top flight. Once that game is over you should not leave your television sets as there is the little matter of the all Madrid Champions League final.

The first time ever the European Cup/Champions League final will be decided between two clubs from the same city, Real go in as favourites, but Spanish Champions Atletico have the confidence and momentum from their title win that can propel them to glory. It will be a tight affair but is sure to be a classic. Whoever wins will have the bragging rights of the entire city.

After a thrilling game, it was Arsenal who won the FA Cup. They were down 2-0 after only eight minutes but a strong resolve saw the Gunners roar back to claim their first trophy in nine years. It was fitting that Aaron Ramsey was the one to score the winning goal, after such a great performance all season.

World Cup is only 20 days away!!!!
