Both Sky Sports News and BBC Sport are reporting that former Manchester City boss, Roberto Mancini is in Istanbul on the verge of becoming the new Galatasaray manager. Mancini would be replacing Faith Terim who left the Turkish Champions at the end of last week. Terim is still in charge of the Turkish national side.
Mancini will be inheriting a squad that includes the likes of Didier Drogba, Wesley Sneijder and Buruk Yilmaz.
Mancini was sacked by Manchester City last May, following defeat to Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup final.
